About The Grant Professional

Beth Rubins, MSW

Beth Rubins is a nonprofit management, grant fundraising, and philanthropy expert with over 14 years experience procuring and managing grant funds, as well as developing programs, managing nonprofit operations, and teaching on the topics of nonprofit fundraising and organizational development.

As a grant professional, Beth has raised over $20 million in support for nonprofit, public education, and government organizations. Beth teaches university and professional development courses on grant development,  fundraising, and nonprofit management. Beth’s expertise as a grants professional has led her to speaking engagements at national and regional conferences, trainings, and events. Beth's involvement in professional associations includes the Grant Professionals Association, Association of Fundraising Professionals, Emerging Practitioners In Philanthropy, and Young Nonprofit Professionals Network. Beth holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) with an emphasis on Industrial/Organizational Social Work from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Sciences from the University of California Irvine.

When she is not at work passionately raising funds in support of community based organizations, Beth can be found at home in Las Vegas, Nevada with her grumpy old dog Bailey, training at the gym for her next competition as an Olympic weightlifter, and occasionally fielding calls from the International Space Station.
